How long until we're live?

Most clinics go live in a day. We migrate your patients and inventory, set your currency, language, and timezone, and your first booking can fire its confirmation the same afternoon.

Can we migrate from our current dental software?

Yes. Bulk-upload patients and inventory by CSV; duplicates are detected and skipped, so re-importing is safe. We help you map the data during onboarding, and our team handles the import for Chain plans.

Do we need to install anything?

No. smileQute is a cloud web app. Nothing to install on the front-desk PC, the dentist's tablet, or the doctor's phone. Open a browser, log in, work.

What does onboarding actually look like?

Step one: create the clinic and pick the modules you want live. Step two: invite the team with role-based access. Step three: import patients and inventory. Step four: take your first booking — the confirmation SMS or WhatsApp fires automatically.

How is smileQute priced?

Is there a free trial?

We run a 30-minute personalized demo on your workflow, then provision a 14-day sandbox with your branding so you can run scenarios end-to-end. You pay nothing until you go live with real patients.

Are SMS and WhatsApp charges included?

Each plan includes a monthly transactional message quota. Overage is charged at pass-through carrier rates (typically $0.005 – $0.04 per SMS depending on country, plus WhatsApp Business API rates). We never mark up gateway fees.

Security & Compliance

Is patient data secure?

Every clinic's data is fully isolated from every other tenant. Access is role-based with granular permissions, secrets are encrypted at rest, deletes are soft and recoverable, and every change is logged in a timestamped audit trail.

Where is data stored?

On regional cloud infrastructure with daily encrypted backups. Chain plans can pin storage to a specific region (India, EU, US, UAE, APAC) for data-residency compliance.

Can we restrict what each role can see?

Yes. Roles (clinic admin, dentist, hygienist, front desk, accountant, observer) come with sensible defaults that you can override per permission. Clinical notes can be hidden from front desk; billing can be hidden from observers; doctor schedules can be private to the doctor.

What happens if we delete a record by mistake?

Deletes are soft by default — the record is hidden but recoverable for a configurable window. The audit trail shows who deleted what, when. Admins can restore from the trash; the original row is intact.

Localization & Markets

Does it work in our country, currency, and language?

Yes. Currency, language, timezone, date and number formats, and tax rules are configurable per clinic, so a group can run branches in different countries from one account. We currently ship with 12+ languages and support every ISO 4217 currency.

Can a multi-location group run different currencies per branch?

Yes. Each clinic in a group can have its own currency, tax rules, and templates. The super-admin console reports across all branches with currency normalization for cross-clinic KPIs.

Do you support Arabic, Hindi, or right-to-left languages?

Arabic (RTL) is supported including layout mirroring, date formats, and message templates. Hindi, Tamil, and major Indian regional languages are supported. New languages roll out monthly — request what you need during the demo.

How does patient messaging work?

Automated SMS and WhatsApp fire at every step — welcome, booking confirmation, reschedule, cancellation, 2-hour reminder, payment receipt — in each patient's language, with per-patient opt-out and guards against double-sends.

Which SMS gateways and WhatsApp providers do you support?

Major regional SMS gateways (MSG91, Twilio, Sinch, AWS SNS) and the official WhatsApp Business API. Switching gateways is a per-clinic config — no integration work required from your side.

Is it DLT-compliant for India?

Yes. Templates go through a DLT approval workflow before they can fire. The system tracks DLT template IDs per send and refuses to dispatch un-approved templates to Indian numbers.

Devices, Browsers & Integrations

What devices does it work on?

smileQute is a mobile-first web app. Doctors use it from the chair on a phone or tablet, the front desk runs it from a laptop, and there is nothing to install. Modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) are fully supported.

Can we use it offline?

Most workflows require a live connection because data syncs across the team in real time. A view-only offline mode for the day's schedule is on the roadmap.

Does it integrate with our X-ray sensor or imaging software?

Image upload is supported per patient and per tooth. DICOM and direct-sensor capture are on the roadmap; meanwhile, exporting an image from your sensor software and uploading it takes seconds.

What's the uptime guarantee?

Chain plans carry a 99.95% uptime SLA. Group and Solo plans run on the same infrastructure with the same redundancy. Status updates live at status.smilequte.com; incidents are postmortem'd publicly.

How do we get help when something breaks?

Email and chat support are included on every plan, with response targets that scale with the tier. Group plans add priority routing; Chain plans add a dedicated success manager who knows your setup.
